The Hump Day - Tranquil Roads of the North Ride Hosted by John Petrus

Celebrate the completion of another hump day with an invigorating after work ride through the back roads of Butler County possibly followed by some strong ale and a meal at a local tap house to replenish those calories you just burned.
This week’s ride:
Yellow Creek Ride “ This is an easy 17mile ride on quiet public roads with gentle rolling hills. I am imagining a pace of between 10 and 15 mph, but we will muster at intersections where a change in direction takes place, but ride at your own pace in between.
The route for the ride and the starting point can be seen here:

The all-important after ride restorative snacks & libation will be at the Harmony Inn.
We will meet at 6:00 pm at the lower parking lot of Seneca Valley High School. We will leave at 6:30, so if you are late, bring a doctor’s excuse and a printout of the route above, then peddle like hell and catch up.
-This is a ride on public roads, so bring the safety gear that makes you comfortable and follow the rules of the road.
-Bring water and a snack as you see fit – it will be hot and this route has no convenience stores.
-Be considerate and arrive on time with your bike in working order.
-Look at the Meetup post or call for weather cancellations.
-My cell is 724-272-1643
-Always remember that exploring means never having to say you are lost.
