Austintown (or Champion) to GOTL
About this event
SVTC is inviting OSW to ride with them on their Annual Memorial Day ride to Geneva on the Lake. There are 2 start options. First is starting from Mark Sorrentino’s home at 7:30am. Mark requests riders be present by 7am to get ready for the ride. Second option is starting from the Sunside Route 305 Western Reserve Greenway trail in Champion (547 Center St. E, Warren) ready to ride by 8:45 am. Most of us are riding 1 way. If starting at Mark’s home, it will be about 65 miles. If starting at Route 305, 45 miles. If riding one way, you must arrange your own ride home. Some riders drop a car at the GOTL Lodge the day before and some arrange with family or friends to bring them back. We typically eat as a group at GOTL Brewery after ride. This ride began as a tribute to a SVTC member, Phil Brosier who had died unexpectedly. On this ride we will honor all SVTC members who have passed. This ride typically takes 4-5 hours for long option. Pace range from mid moderate to fast. Ride will not be on trail, but on roads. Questions, text Kim Ruble @ 330-766-2614. If weather looks horrible by this Thursday, we may change ride to 5/23/26. So be prepared to ride either day. We will make a final decision on this by Thursday.
